AH HA! Teddy Bear's picnic. I always look forward to your pictures of it. Doesn't have as unique a color in this picture as some you've posted in the past, but you've said it changes during the day. So glad you posted it....I love edges, so the other 2 edgy ones are pretty also.................Maryl

Nice! I really like the edge on Soul Catcher. Color Crazy has a really wide edge. I like it too.

What beautiful reblooms you have. Ditto what Nancy said, those 2 are my favorites, although Color crazy with that much rebloom seems like a great plant. Seeing Teddy Bears Picnic remind me mine did not bloom that great this year. I guess I need to move it away from the neighboring shrub.

Hoosier Nancy - Soul Catcher and Color Crazy do have nice double edges.

Nancy6B - This is the worst my Teddy Bears Picnic has every done. It's in too much shade now and most of the fans didn't scape.

Debra , thanks so much for posting the image of Soul Catcher . I just recently added this one to my gardens and haven't seen it bloom so this is a perfect prelude to what maybe I can expect in my garden next year. Is Teddy Bears Picnic new in your garden? I can only go on what images I see on NGA and yours for whatever reason doesn't have the very distinct sharp eye that I see in those images. However I am only going by images on line . I do grow it here . Added it 2016 and 2017 from a grower down in N.S. but I have not seen it bloom yet . For whatever reason, the plants I get from this grower seem to take at least 2 seasons to settle in and maybe in the 3rd year I get to see a bloom . Happened on Sigourney added 2017 and finally saw it bloom this year same goes for several others too.

Debra: I'm so glad you showed older pictures of Teddy Bear's Picnic. It's too bad about it's current growing condition, but it has fascinated me in earlier years, especially the early morning greyed colors you used to get. Have you ever grown Pigment of the Imagination?..........Maryl

I have Pigment of the Imagination, it has a stage where I really like the color, I wish it would stay at that point. My husband really likes it's different colors. This was its 1st year, it really looked melty by the end of the day to me.

Someone told me years ago that Pigment of The Imagination wasn't a great daylily stat wise, especially in my heat (as you said it melts by days end). As it was expensive at the time, I passed, even though the different colors it went through still appealed to me. Some day someone may hybridize one that is a better daylily overall...........Maryl

Debra , thanks for posting those other images of Teddy Bears Picnic . Now those are what I am hoping mine will look like if it should ever decide to bloom .

I grow POI and to be frank when it first bloomed one morning I thought I had the wrong plant . The early morning bloom looks nothing like the midday bloom or even the evening bloom. It did not bloom this year . I guess it was just too dry for it . I love the fact that the bloom changes colors .
