Might you please respond with the dimensions of this beautiful island? Did you use the single slab (120x63)? Or, is there a seam? If there is a seam, how did that turn out / any tricks or tips? Many thanks! Lovely kitchen!

The island is 7'-8" x 10' and we did use two different consecutive slabs and therefore it has a seam running down the center, parallel with the sink. Because the slabs are consecutive, the veining flows from one slab to the next making the seam almost invisible.

The vent hood liner is by Zephyr (Monsoon 42") and the custom cabinetry was built to accommodate the liner.

No one asked the cabinets, so beautiful, can you please share what is the name and the color for the white cabinets?

The cabinets were all custom made. The white paint is Cool December by Dunn Edwards and the island stain is Verathane's "Weathered Oak" on white oak wood.

Can you please tell me more about the backsplash tile?

The backsplash is a 3x6 Calacatta Gold subway tile, honed.
