They are entertaining, aren't they. I've had about the same number of Anna's as I usually do and those will stay through winter - year around residents. I don't think I've had as many rufous passing through as previous years and I'm not sure why. In the past I've had a real flurry of fiesty little red birds in July, but just a few at a time this season.

I wish I could have year round hummingbirds!

There are probably some freezing or snowy mornings about 6 AM when DH would give you 'his'....when he's set an alarm to get up and put thawed feeders back outside so their breakfasts aren't late and they can begin on some warming calories ;0)
