First take the clock away. We would need to know measurements and best to just post a to scale floor plan of the space with all measurements maked on the drawing Using graph paper makes this easier to do/ From what I see you have no space to add anything except a piece of art and it could be quite large but still hung at the height where the center is still at eye level the height of the ceiling really has little to do with hanging art.

Furniture there will block the traffic path through the space. Big art is your answer. Hope you can remove all the little scatter rugs; they look like a trip up waiting to happen. Around the corner, try turning the mirror vertically if you keep it, but again, art would be a better choice, IMO. No big clocks anywhere, please!

Remove all the furniture as it is just taking up precious space.

You choose one wall and make it the coat rack Hang a mirror on the opposite wall. All walls which make the “foyer” are wallpapered.

You could hang a large quilt or tapestry on the wall for color and texture.
