I have several boxes of 3x5 tile for my backsplash that I need to store until our kitchen remodel in the spring. Is it safe to store it in my basement? It’s not heated in the storage area we have and want to be sure the tile won’t crack and break if we get extreme cold snaps.

I currently dont have a storage closet I can put it in and it’s been taking up space in a small tv room for months now.
