Double Delight--good for the soul

I'll be honest, I was totally bummed last night when I got an email from Pickering letting me know that even though I ordered Black Caviar and Augusta Louise and it went through; they were sold out. So I sat on my porch to lament 'my loss'. This beauty perked me up. Good ole trusty Double Delight always seems to cheer me up.

Gorgeous pic. Another rose lover recommended this to me as their favorite and they grow it here in Denver. I would love to get one but haven't seen it for sale locally. Alas it shall have to go on my list of ones to get if I ever mail order.

Beautiful bloom, Mas. It is cheerful. Isn’t it wonderful that roses can lift the spirit in that way? A HT that would always lift me up or make me smile when I grew it back West was Gemini.
