I chose a sterling gray grout color to use with NPT Aztec Cobalt tile for my water line tile and, after installation, I am unhappy with the grout color. It looks almost white when dry but looks like the color I wanted dry when it’s wet. Has anyone had any experience with darkening the grout in your pool and what product did you use? I want to avoid removing the grout unless it’s absolutely necessary. Will an enhanced sealer do the trick and are they designed for swimming pool applications? I’ve read an enhanced sealer may not provide even color and I may have blotches of dark and light. My pool guy says we can come up with a solution but really hasn’t run into this problem before and I think he is hesitant and unsure. The pool is not finished and now would be the time to do something.
