something isn't right here!

I am always changing up my room and adding to it so that I'm comfortable, but I end up seeing better designs online that are nowhere near mine! I just want it to be cozy and bright and cute. I love nature and white with pink and brown accents! please mind the mess, I'm in the process of throwing stuff out!

    Way too much stuff there. The eye has nowhere to rest. Continue with the decluttering - take everything down, get rid of the stuff you've outgrown, and only put back the things that you really care about. And try to get away from small bits and pieces - go for a few bigger items over a tangle of small ones.

    Consider investing in a cabinet or two -- and go vertical ... more storage for less floor space:

    One cabinet with solid doors could hide away stuff you want/need to keep;

    One cabinet with glass doors that enables you to display items without those items being clutter.

    On a budget, after you measure your room an know how much space you have, check local Habitat for Humanity or thrift stores for used items that would work for you.

    Take everything out and then only add back what you truly love .Get someone to make you a huge cork board to save all the pictures ticket stubs etc on one wall.

    Like your hanging baskets with plants.

    For privacy at night when you have the lights on, do consider adding mini blinds to your windows -- the new kind don't have those awful strings.

    There are inexpensive clamps that would enable you to attach your rectangle mirror to your closet door -- inside or out.

    A square footlocker could serve both for the storage of items you seldom use and be used as a bedside table.

    If you don't move your bed around you might consider adding four blocks to lift it off the floor enough for you to use under-bed storage -- there are plastic wheeled containers that you can push under and pull out from beneath your bed as if they were "drawers".

    Have you considered adding sun catchers to your windows -- the kind that hang from hooks on suction cups attached the glass? If you find some of the smaller inexpensive ones you like, they can add color to your room and reflect your personal taste and hobbies.

    Are there any thrift stores near you that sell used furniture such as Habitat For Humanity Restore Store where you might find an affordable cabinet with doors to keep but hide some of your treasures -- even an old tv cabinet designed for deep analog tvs can sometimes have a combination of open and closed storage spaces, including bottom drawers and glass on one door and even doors over the larger area -- an area where you could add a shelf or shelves as needed. You could still hang shelves above it to display what you actually want seen.
