Trim color should be the same throughout a home.

I agree, try to keep the trim the same--it provides a nice flow with the same trim throughout and is certainly cheaper to use the same product. I'm having a bit of an issue where a designer is suggesting a satin finish trim in my Master Bath remodel and a semi-gloss finish in my Hall Bath remodel. I may just go ahead with semi-gloss for both as it's easier to maintain.

I like the trim the same throughout the house. I have seen trim different in some rooms in a house, and it doesnt look right.
