I found a monarch on august 22nd, unable to fly. Recently he's been showing more energy and flapping around, but this afternoon he suddenly became very stiff, I thought he was dead until I noticed he was moving his proboscis very minimally. His wings have stayed open for hours, and the only thing he's moved has been his antennas and proboscis, I unwound his tongue with a needle and placed it in sugar water so he could drink. What is wrong?
