3. Could be some type of Ludwigia.

The tall weed in photo #4 is Urena, an invasive exotic. Pull it out before the seed heads form as they are little burrs that will stick to your clothes, hat, gloves, everything.

The yellow daisy could be Melampodium paludosum.

Carol - Thanks for that link. I saved it so I can go through all the plants on there. I believe you are right about the Tasselflower. Not so sure about the Ludwigia.

Sonni - Yes, #4 is Urena lobata. I looked it up and found it for sale on Ebay. I have so many of these plants growing, I could make a fortune! LOL!

Floral - Not sure about the Melapodium. I was leaning towards some kind of Euryops.

A shot of the whole plant would help but I don't know of any Euryops with entire leaves like the photo. They have ferny foliage. They are also semi shrubby, aromatic and like very well drained full sun locations.

Wedelia is a big problem! As are all of these you posted ( if in FL ). I would remove all these weeds shown flowering.

I agree about #5 being wedelia - I have more of it than I want. It is a commonly used groundcover here, and grows rampantly.

& I agree #4 looks like a ludwigia (a.k.a. primrose willow). There is a lot of it growing around the lake @ work.

Those 'shrub' pix might be easier to ID if they were bigger and more close-up.

nel - That's it! Wedelia ( Sphagneticola trilobata). I think you are right on the beautyberry, too.

Ulisdone - Yes, I am in Florida. I am working on removing all the weeds on the back half of my property. It is absolutely overrun with weeds with some poison ivy mixed in. So, I am working slowly and methodically to remove as much of it as I can. It is neverending. I clear one area and move to the next and a couple of weeks later, I find I have to come back and redo the previous spot. The lack of rain the past two weeks has helped some. During the constant rains in July and August, it was almost impossible. One step forward, two steps back!

Carolb - I did not think it was Ludwigia when carol23 first mentioned it but then she linked to Ludwigia octovalvis and I believe that is correct.

I will post better pictures of the shrub later this evening.

I think pic #6 is some kind of Indigofera (in case anyone is interested).

Thanks, Carolb. They are definitely not tree seedlings. At first I thought it might be cocoplum but the leaves are not rounded. I think there might be some little flower buds appearing. I will post a picture of the flowers when they open.

Def. not cocoplum. I am very familiar with that.

It looks distinctively and horribly thorny. And there are flower buds visible. Someone ought to be able to name it soon.

There are also three or four other woody species there, plus the grapes. What is actually meant to be growing there?

They could be a Bumelia of some kind.

I do see some runner oak too ( quercus elliottii).
