I have about a two year old E'lux range - works great so far. However it does the strangest thing - occasionally it spontaneously chimes when the range is not in use. This morning - ding-ding-ding - the same sound it makes when the oven reaches temperature. I would say I hear this maybe once every couple months - it may do it more often and I'm not around to hear it. Has anyone ever heard of something like this? I have an extended warranty on this thing and though this isn't a real "problem" I wonder if it is a sign of electronic problems to come. I haven't contacted E'lux yet - thought I would check here first.
