Take it out of the pot and check the roots. Also, check the soil whether it is proper for sansevieria and if there is some drainage material at the bottom of the pot. Masonianas are rather water-hungry, but a water-logged soil might cause damage.

Looks like a leaf cutting. Does it have roots? If a cutting, the new pups coming up will be with out the variegation. If you get any, must have at least a two inch root rhizome.
