I have one stained glass in a morning sun bed. It is beautifully golden yellow with the green border. It’s a new one. My previous one was great for several years and die off to a few eyes with mouse sized ears. So tossed that plantEd the new one. That bed gets watered once a week if no rain. Don’t know if that’s why the first one died? Here’s a pic of it:

The other two I don’t have at this time. Would like CW.

LOL! Don, it's that all beds are full! I bought 3 hostas at the nursery : the other 2 had been on my list to get eventually. In each case something else will have to be dug out and a new place found for it. Shoved under a tree in the corner of the yard ...or banished to the parkway under the maple to struggle or die.

I just finished an extensive rearrangement, too. But I guess rearrangement is never ending.

LOL I understand, Linnea. My beds are almost full, also.

And rearrangement never ends! I have been digging things into the ground for the winter and thinking that's not really where I want it. I guess I'll be busy rearranging next season again!

I really like Stained Glass. I've been struggling with a very small Cathedral Windows so I can't comment on it. Saw Etched Glass in a nursery this year and picked it up. But since my garden is full, I decided to put it back. Sometimes what I find with newer hosta (that not many people have) is that they may not grow well, or they may not look good all season etc. So I try to refrain from buying new until others have it and can tell me more about it. Anyways, it slows down the amount of new hostas I get to have---which is actually a good thing for me---until I find more hosta real estate!

I got Etched glass recently and it is doing well. Stained glass is oldest and in good sun, CW in more shade, love it. It does not grow as fast but conditions are different.
