I’d paint the walls and put up a different shower curtain, bath mat, towels. How old are your kids?

7 and 12 year old boys and a 2 year old girl.

New shower curtain, rug and towels. Put three shallow boxes in the wide drawer, one for each kid.

I like the idea of painting it navy or another blue color and changing the curtain, adding colorful fluffy rugs. If you want to diy you could paint the cabinets.

New white counter/sink/faucet. Paint vanity a fun color.

I like these two bathrooms for kids

I agree that a white countertop would make the biggest change. I’m not sure which color I prefer for the vanity if I’m working forward this style. Also, we’ve used chrome and Venetian bronze in the house so far. I don’t think I want to add brushed nickel. Could I do chrome with this style for consistency? Finally, i need to do something about the grout. It’s already been professionally cleaned. I was considering trying grout renew. Would it look better white or light gray? I’m not sure the white would stay clean very long.

A different-colored set of towels for each child (colors selected from a fun shower curtain). Paint, maybe wallpaper, new washable bathroom rugs, towel bars or hooks for each child, plastic cups for each child, toothbrush holder with three different toothbrushes, a laundry hamper in the bathroom or in each kid’s bedroom.

When the kids begin to shower instead of bathe, you can change the shower head to an adjustable-height head on a vertical bar.
Make sure the tub has a non-slip finish on the bottom.

Is there room for 2 basins in a new counter top.

Possibly.. It’s 59.5” wide (Wall to wall). We’d have to replace the vanity and have the plumbing changed. Although it would be nice to have two sinks with 3 kids.

I would wait until you can do a new vanity with two sinks since you have three children. I think the bathtub surround tile is really nice as is, but I can’t see the grout. When my son and daughter were younger I changed the long vanity with one sink to a two sink vanity. Best decision ever!
