I would get a wardrobe and put it in the entry where you have the trunk it would hold coats , kids shoes and always look tidy.

Thank you! I like your idea, I'll look for a small wardrobe, my only concern is the little space between the trunk and the first step of the stairs, (it doesn't show in the pictures). I'll try to find something because it'll be great to hide the coats and shoes. Thank you for helping!

Can you switch the bench under the mirror and the console at the pony wall? You might find an "over the door" hanger with hooks on it to put on that door by the shelves so coats could hang there.

I'll switch them to see the proportions near the stairs' steps, and the "over the door" hanger, the door leads to the toilet.

Use the Chest by the steps hold shoes. Add baskets in there, so they can put their shoes in them and shut the door. Also if the bench top lid opens up. Shoes can be stored there also.
