Perhaps, before I bought it. It's been outside since I got it early this summer.

How many of these do you have? I just bought one in Spring, has a bunch of fruit balls on it and blooming again. Seems very vigorous,and definitely ornamental, hope I can find a use for the fruit.

I have probably less than a dozen now. I had more but downsized my citrus collection quite a bit this summer. There are a surprising number of uses for calamondin fruit. Im really stuck on the taste.

When that branch get long enough tip it. Too much energy going to it. Tipping causes that branch to slow down, than produces Side branches, those new leaves should be normal again.

Large leaves often the result of adequate moisture, vigorous growth, slightly lower light, and good feeding (maybe more nitrogren than necessary). I have them on many of my citrus this summer. It has not slowed down the creation of buds and blooms though!

re, a use for the fruit. Blend with lemon juice to give your lemonade or lemon pies a more complex flavor and the color will be more orange. Pure' just the peel or the whole fruit minus the seeds and substitute into recipes calling for crushed pineapple....think hummingbird cake. Calamondins are a bit strong all by themselves but they are great for blending with other citrus in jams and marmalades.

That's good to see. Mine has only ever produced the small leaves but lots of blooms and fruit.
