Gigi (POUlty019), miniflora rose, bred by by Mogens Nyegaard Olesen (Denmark, 2007) and released in Denmark (2011). This rose has red and white striped blooms, repeats well, and even though it started out as a green house rose that was sold in grocery stores, it's extremely healthy in my garden.

Marriotta (MACcricke), a miniature rose, bred by Samuel Darragh McGredy IV (1981). The petals of this rose are so unique that you almost think that it's not a rose. The 1.5-inch blooms have deep pink color with mild fragrance. It's very healthy in my garden and blooms all the time.

Pandemonium (MACpandem/Claire Rayner/Pan), miniature rose, bred by by Samuel Darragh McGredy IV (1982), introduced in New Zealand by McGredy Roses International (1988). The beautiful blooms have yellow and orange-red stripes with mild, musk fragrance.

Pompon Veranda (KO 99/1720-02/KORfloci05/Pashmina/Pompon Flower Circus), a floribunda rose, bred by Kordes (Germany, 1999) and introduced in 2010 (Germany). This rose is beautiful and very healthy in my garden. The blooms last forever on a bush. What more could you ask for in a rose?

Prospero (AUSpero), an English rose shrub, bred by David C. H. Austin (UK, 1982). This rose has crimson and purple blooms with unique shaped petals and strong fragrance. I just got this rose own root, and it repeats well and is very healthy in my garden. Love this rose. Helen

Marriott is so unique! My Gigi is constantly in bloom with a flush starting before the previous one has finished. Very green healthy leaves with no hint of any disease. It has never been without a flower or bud since it started in early spring! No fragrance is only drawback.

Seil, because of your cold zone, whatever roses you can grow are precious in themselves. I always have a deep respect for rose gardeners in cold zones who keep their roses come back year after year.

Stephanie, yes Marriott is adorable. It's also very healthy and blooms all the time in my garden. Gigi is an amazing rose. It grows like weeds in my garden. Most of the time, I don't look for fragrance in mini. If they are beautiful and healthy, it's good enough for me. Helen

Whimsy (Wektebodoko), a miniature rose bred by Christian Bédard (US, before 2009) and released in 2011 (US). The 2.25-inch white, pink streaks white reverse blooms have mild fragrance. The first time I saw the blooms, I felt like they were painted on. This rose is extremely healthy and blooms all the time in my garden. I didn't notice it has a lot of thorns until it's mature. As long as it's planted out of the traffic area, its thorns won't be a problem. I have 4 Whimsy and planted them near tree roses, and they complement each other really well. Helen
