Rosie, Your club sounds a great deal like our Indiana group. We also have congenial members, some who drive nearly two hours to join us. Hopefully, with time you will add new members. We have a Facebook presence so that has helped us gain a few but like you suggest, we would love to welcome more!

I'm hearing that the younger crowd is really getting into house plants, hosting plant swaps and such. Perhaps some of these people will spill into the African violet and gesneriad world and hopefully AV groups will find additional members.

Hi Terri !!!! Long time no hear from!!! Glad to hear your group is doing well. Ours is doing well,,,,,but it is a small group. We would like to have some new members. People always bring a wealth of information to the discussions!!!! It is always interesting to hear how other people manage their violets from processing leaves to growing them to maturity.

And you don't have to live only in Romulus to join us. We will take anyone from anywhere, as long as they are willing to make the drive.

I am from the next county over!!!!! But I love my group and I hate when we don't have a meeting because of Thanksgiving, Christmas or any other time our meeting day falls too close to a holiday! I do miss the meeting!!!! lol
