Repotting Common Asparagus Fern

last modified: 6 years ago

Hey what's up

This is my Common Asparagus Fern I bought. I wasn't satisfied with the pot so I repotted it after I got home. However, after reading tips and watching videos, I still managed to fail. The compost collapsed right after watering and the plant was placed too deep into the pot that some leaves are not above the pot

I don't want to add more dry compost at the moment because it might affect the existing moist compost. Should I repot it once it's dry? put more compost beneath the root so it doesn't sink?

What should I do right now or in the future to fix this issue?

Thank you

*The lighting is bright, it doesn't seem to be because of the camera flashlight*

*Hate how I messed up the first day of me owning the plant. Especially since I have some experience in houseplants*
