Tempting to do a bold dark color!

I was thinking of a black and white rug ... and thought about putting it on the wall!

We just put in a live edge fireplace mantel, so i thought it might tie in with the mantel and floor ... I’m putting a pool table room on the other side

but with the wall paper design and other decor I can see these barn doors that you selected looking so much better!!! Thank you!!!!

with the design around the fireplace, and the table and chairs you've chosen, a barn door like the one you pictured is too far 'country farmhouse' from what you have. Not going to work.

So pick one of the 'more traditional' looking doors to use.

you could also look at craigslist, or any flea mart or salvage yard for vintage style doors. you may luck out and find a really cool looking one.

I actually made one for my closet using a door I found on craigslist for $25. I sprayed the glass to give it a mirrored effect, and painted it black. (found the hardware for it on craigslist too. $60!)

not necessarily. just depends on the room, the lighting, type of furniture,
