On a whim, I ordered a philodendron black cardinal baby on hirts.com in september and got it last month. I am by no means a philodendron expert but any photo I have seen of an adult p. black cardinal has a rosette of leaves stemming from a single stalk. The one I have has crazy amounts of leaves jutting from everywhere. Do I have a montrose p. Black cardinal on my hands? I do not want to just go on instinct and want second opinions as I do not believe I have ever seen any philodendron mentioned as being monstrose anywhere or any photos. I am just trying to figure out this mass of leaves and I will be really excited if I have a potential show stopper on my hands in my future.
