My two big lush bloomers are Queen Nefertiti and Lambert Closse. Queenie is a peachy pink center with cream outside, fading to yellow as the blooms age, and Lambert Closse is a lovely clear pale pink. Both have blooms as big as my whole hand. I don't spray and they are excellently disease free for me on their own roots.

Both of mine are from High Country Roses but I bought them from Split Mountain Farms nursery as gallon sized, SMF is owned by Matt's sister and she gets all her roses from HCR. Lambert Closse doesn't have much for fragrance, you have to put your face next to it to detect any. Queenie has amazing fragrance, smell-her-just-walking-past-the-garden strength, it is a very sweet, citrus and vanilla kind of scent, not musky at all. Hard to describe.

Belinda's Dream and Dark Desire. Sometimes Aloha, Zaide and Darcey Bussell will also grow huge. They are always extremely petal packed. Most of my other large flowers are on climbers.

September Morn! Very fragrant and the flowers stay large through the heat of Texas summers. And it has very healthy foliage for me in San Antonio. It's the fourth rose down on THIS POST.

I follow a UK gardening forum and the rose expert there keeps posting the most gorgeous photos of her Munstead Wood Roses. Deepest burgundy (almost purple) rose I have EVER seen. It there is a heaven, this rose must live there.
