I really like the middle one with your counters. However, it looks like it might look too washed out/dirty with your white cabinets. If that's true in person, I'd go with one of the darker tiles (either far left or far right). The second from the left looks like it matches your cabinets nicely, but my preference would be to contrast rather than match the cabinets.

With door. I think the white is close but I know whites can be very tricky. I like that the Cloud Dancer is not white so it won’t appear I tried to match it but missed.

I started with Bossy Grey (first tile) but then I wondered if it was more taupe/brown than I wanted.

Bossy Grey or Cloud Dancer

Bossy Grey and then Cloud Dancer with door sample. Enough contrast with the Cloud Dancer?

Not a pro. The Cloud Dancer looks “fleshy” in many of the photos on my iPhone. It looks like the pinky-beige tone that Maria Killam is always warning about. I prefer the white but that’s cause I’m boring LOL (but seriously I prefer to be more basic with hard finishes and bring in color elsewhere). If not white, the Bossy Gray looks the best to my eye.

I think that darker one on the end, it looks like it has a wavy surface. Its at the bottom of the photo with your white door against the counter, posted about 47 minutes ago.

On my monitor some of those are looking a bit pink and I don't think those will go well with your counters.

Definitely bossy grey if your husband vetoed Anatolia. Ash is too cool, cloud dancer is too peachy, and white is not an exact match to your cabinets.

I know it's tough to photograph this stuff, but when possible, and certainly when choosing, keep the tile vertical. It changes the way the light hits it and can the appearance of the color of the tile.

That said, you don't have a wrong tile in the bunch. Based on the image below (and above), I'd go for either of the gray tiles on the ends, and probably the one on the left (Bossy Grey?).

Definitely not going for pink, peach, or fleshy! Yikes!

Matched the tiles up to some paint swatches I have, I’d say the Cloud Dancer is close to BM Pale Oak, Bossy Grey is close to Edgecomb Grey, and the wavy Anatolia is close to BM Revere Pewter.

I think I've read that Pale Oak can read a little pink/peach sometimes, so maybe that makes sense.

I liked the Cloud Dancer in every photo until that last one, which seems totally unlike the rest, with a pink cast. but honestly, most of your lineup looks good. I'm sure it will work out.

Yes, my husband veto'd the Anatolia due to its wavy, 3D quality but I put it back in for comparison because I do think the color works with the counters. The wave might make it a little more modern than I was looking for.

Thanks to everyone so far. Still giving it thought. Narrowed down to Bossy Gray or Cloud Dancer.

I might try to get sample of this Jeffrey Court Mountain Mist. Beautiful in this photo, but not sure if it is too gray in real life.

Cloud Dancer.

It is a tie between Sonoma Bossy Gray and Jeffrey Court Mountain Mist, with Sonoma Cloud Dancer a close second. Husband says Jeffrey Court because it is about 1/2 the price...but I think I’m going with the Sonoma Bossy Gray because it is warmer.

On my monitor, the 1st 3 look great.

You can’t go far wrong - you have great taste in tile. You’ve chosen great options that are just the tiniest bit off. They look right when you lay them down horizontally, but not quite right when they’re vertical. Any of them would be fine, but I think you just need to consider other glazes. Here are two more, starting at $15/sf from the Foundations line at Fireclay Tile in French Linen (top) and Oyster Shell (bottom). French Linen is a beautifully neutral grey. Oyster Shell skews the tiniest bit warm/green, but then so does your counter material in places.

Bossy Gray. What size is this tile?

@Noneya Business I have not been able to decide yet. Ugh. I had decided on Bossy Gray and was going to order but chickened out. It looks so beige at my house but can look so gray in other photos.

I picked up a sample of Jeffrey Court Mountain Mist and it is a nice tile at a great price but I think it’s a little more gray than I want.

I want to get some of the Fireclay samples @eam44 suggested but we’ve been busy. Those are next.

I really just want some that blends in with the counter, but the counter looks so different in various places and at various times of day so I can’t commit.

We are also getting several replacement doors installed so I want to see what they look next to more white, as opposed to the maple interior I was looking at.
