Hi, Faye, are you wanting something more colorful? If so, any particular ones? What styles do you like? Is this room open to any others ... and if so, are there other rugs nearby?

Thanks for answering. We have more of a modern taste but like things calming. In this Room we have green pillows and we have a picture that has all different colors in it so we can always change pillow colors it opens up to the kitchen and there are no rugs in the kitchen and the kitchen is very neutral.

Ok, these are mostly just to see where your tastes lean. Are they too traditional? Too much movement? Too much color? Too warm?

Your thoughts will hopefully help others with suggestions, too. :)

I posted mock-ups and then a real life pic of each rug because the mock-ups aren’t exact coloring and such. You can see that the actual rugs are more muted.

(If you’d like to play around, I use Rugs USA and eSaleRugs ... there may be other sites that have mock-up abilities, too. I think other posters have sites they use, hopefully they see this thread.)

This is called Tree Of Life ... you can see the real picture isn’t near as vivid as the mock-up. I like the muted version.

I couldn’t use those two exact rugs, but found some similar (abstract and trellis). Hopefully these will give you a bit of an idea on how they’d look in there.

**The cat toy looks unfortunate in some of these. I couldn’t edit it out. :D

And the trellis. The one you posted looks similar to your current rug, you know how it looks, so I found something a little different.
