Looks like a brand new kitchen, how exciting! I think you’re exactly right - woven shades would add too much wood and detract from the trim and drapes would hide it! I think your best bet is a fabric roman shade. You can keep it simple with white linen or cotton, add a ribbon to match the kitchen cabinets or do a light gray stripe to complement the kitchen, or a darker shade. These kind of pictures always help me visual things like this! All of these roman shades are from pottery barn and I’d wait until 30% for Black Friday!
