Two dining areas - please help with table advice

good morning! We are finishing a kitchen renovation in our home and have a very classic New England colonial layout. we have an office and dining room as front two rooms and then a back kitchen/eat in area that is also open via an archway to the dining room. We have a large extended family so having one dining table really isn’t an option. Plus we have a pretty large great room/family room off the eat in area so we aren’t in need of another living space.

ultimately my question is this: we have a rustic/ traditional style with a little modern farmhouse mixed in. i love our dining room and prefer not to change anything in there. The table isn’t pure white but has more gray undertone than brown. Our current table was purchased on sale about 6 years Ago and is very creamy brown warm undertones. Our new kitchen is much cooler With pure whites and grays. the table just looks...dirty. Since these two rooms are adjoining I feel like I need to have the two tables work together but also look different. Any thoughts? I love the look of trestle tables but want to make sure the color looks right. Thanks!
