I had to buy an app for my PC, photopad, the free apps kill you with ads, my phones MINIMUM image size is 1280 x 720 and up.........the ap was cheap enough, you would think the phone would have that super low resolution option built in (as stupid as Houzz is) but I may need it anyway for anything like a returned product or problem. Still......out of general principle, it bugs me

I use to use Adobe, mine is an old one , Elements 6,, I think they are at elements 12 or 14. It is a little more complicated but very useful, no ads!! “Image Size” is easy to use but does have adds.

I use paint program on windows 10 and shrink my photos to 30%.

My camera is set to 2560x1920 and I use my desktop to post. In the past I had problems off and on not being able to post pics or sometimes even text disappeared. But for the past several months I did not have a problem. Could be because I use the gardenweb instead of houzz. So trying with houzz to see if there is problem. Just a pic of a cemetery on a misty morning. Same 2560x1920 resolution.

Tropico, a good point, the problem Is, when you write a long post with pictures, Houzz might delete the whole thing. For me, I just go do the extra effort to reduce the pictures and be done.
