Sharing pictures doesn't help much - they seldom show colors the way they actually look in a home.

Guessing you are thinking of using Stonington Gray as your core neutral.

It will look good or bad depending on the other colors you have in the space. Flooring, trim, furniture, artwork.

Kind of like picking an outfit to wear, the shoes, pants, shirt, coat, jewelry. Each piece can be beautiful on it's own, but need to work together to create a stunning outfit.

Here is a link to how I pick colors for a home. It may provide the guidance you need.

we brought it and gray owl to the new house to see in different rooms and lights and ended up with gray owl instead. For our space it worked better.

We’ve used it as our neutral in 3 different houses - all 100+ year old, some with painted white trim, others with original wood trim. I still like it although wonder sometimes if greys are getting dated. We used BM linen (I think that was the name) in a recent renovation for sale purposes as per the advice of a stager and it looked nice but I still prefer the greys to the beiges. I have used a half tint of stonington grey as well in rooms that don’t get as much light. Will try to post pics.

I have it in my living room. It reads a "soft blue", which is what I wanted. The room has large windows facing west and north, flooring is maple hardwood (medium light color), soft white trim, 2 sets of french doors. The room is about 19 x 20, so I have a large bound off-white carpet, with a colored area rug layered on top.

We have it in our south facing living room, with soft white windows and doors, dark hickory hardwood, mostly light beige furniture, floral area rug. Couple of years in, and I still like it.
