Hallway runner colour

Hello everyone,

I am looking for assistance in selecting a hallway runner. The problem is that we painted the front door to match the garage door but the brown has warmer undertones than our hardwood floors. Our wall colours are Winter Chill (Dulux) and the hardwood is Earl's Court (Beckham Bros) which matches the grey from the walls.

I was thinking maybe something with green and get some green accent pillows to tie it to the living room?

I think greys and aquas will work well with your purple chair, especially if the purples are more of a plum or greyed purple. Here's a runner that brings in purples and aquas.

The paint color looks like a greyed aqua to me and I don't think a green will complement it well. Maybe look for a hallway runner with greys and deep aquas, and do the same with throw pillows for the living room. Also, you can paint the interior of the door if the warm brown bothers you.

Jay06, would the aqua pillows look good with the purple pillows? I'm really hoping to keep the purple armchair in the space.

AC LB, unfortunately my husband won't approve of that rug. But I will take a look at the colours the rug has and see if I can find something similar. Thank you!
