Would like to start up a single beehive in my backyard if possible. Wondering if there are any bee keepers in my area that I could do some volunteer work for this spring to try and learn more about the process. Took a beekeeping cause 2 yrs ago and done lots of reading but really need some first hand experience .

I live in the lower mainland in SW British Columbia ( N Delta) . Any guidance would be appreciated, thanks.
