Yeah, you may have some issues depending what they are planted against. Are they going to be climbing a wooden trellis? If so, they'll probably be OK. Metal? -- that could be hot. Masonry wall? Also hot. There are lots of California rose growers on the forum. Hopefully they will give you a more specific answer based on experience.

Advice for high desert is very different than, say, the humid and rainy east coast.
The sun in the desert is intense and cloud free much of the year, and even reflected off of walls, your roses will still benefit.
I think they will grow just fine with your sun amount as described.

I guess I should add you won't get good flowers from almost any rose above 110 degrees, so as long as you are not expecting ROSES in summer, the plants will survive.
And if they look like they are suffering, you could always later shade them with a trellis or a tree (like citrus) for the late afternoon

In the intermediate desert where we live, hotter than you are but dry, the roses we planted with this exposure really suffered or died. They were against our house and a block wall though so they had reflected heat also. If you can keep your roses away from any reflective structures in your less intense heat they will probably be ok.

About roses that tolerate heat better I’ve noticed the smaller leaved ones do better here than the big leaved ones. Jump for joy has not stopped blooming since it leaved out after pruning last winter.

I did research and read in google that Tahitian heat tolerant and some hybird teas roses is heat tolerant
