We're going to have our entryway redone shortly, with a built-in bench and some shelves. I'm having trouble deciding between different options. First picture is our current entryway--center partition will be removed and it will be opened up to the ceiling. I know the lighting isn't the greatest (it was pitch black outside when I took the picture). Second picture is about what I want for the built-in in the closet, but I'd like to see it with the shiplap in navy. Also, I can't decide what to do for the shelves above the coat hooks. I could do a row of short divided shelves with an undivided shelf above, two equal height rows of divided shelves, or a row of short divided shelves with a row of taller divided shelves above (see pics). It's a long space, 82", but we have 6 kids and will use all the coat hanging space. I don't really currently have enough to fill shelves above the coat hooks so I'm struggling to decide how to design that space that I don't mecessarily need for storage.
