I’m currently in the planning stages of adding wainscoting to my dining room. I’ve done a ton of research on how to figure out the proper size boxes, stile, chair rail height, etc. I am doing just the basic framed boxes. There is one corner of the room where I am just stumped and can’t seem across any advice to solve it. I have wall space where the window is about 13 inches from the corner.

Do I put a small box in the space? Do I make an “L” shaped box to continue below the window? I’ve seen both in my google searches but not sure which look I prefer or is proper. Leaving it empty and just starting a box below the window is an option as well but not sure I like that look at all. I took a few photos of the space. I currently have drafted out roughly 19” boxes with 3” stile. Of course each wall won’t have the exact same size as the wall is different lengths of the walls.
