Say 'so long' to generic business software. Houzz Pro is designed for industry professionals like you.
Sometimes I just want to see pictures or read comments and I find that posts from 2010 show up - which in most cases -not all- are outdated. Is there a way to search for something and doing so by date?
I am on a laptop and using Chrome. If I start typing in the search box at the top of the page it auto-fills which forums and other spots in Houzz that have related posts. Once you click a forum you can sort by the latest posts.
The site does behave differently depending on your device and browser so YMMV.
This is so strange. I too am on a chromebook and have the same problem as peacofhome. When I do get results, they are all REALLY REALLY old. I never get the option to select the forum.

Brighten up my VERY DULL living room (throw pillows/curtains help)!
Do these throw pillows go?
Houzz has a few issues but what happens with old posts is they fade away unless someone now answers it then it moves to the front like they just got posted. I have always maintained a post that is 5 yrs old should just drop off so this doesn’t happen so often. I have no idea how you answer a post that has 6000 answers , really if you didn’t get an answer in the first 100 you won’t get it. I also think if you want to delete your own old post or duplicate you should be able to do that anytime.
I think there also may be differences if you are using a gardenweb forum or URL versus a Houzz forum or URL. The blending of the two sites was not exactly seamless.
Patricia, most of the long threads have morphed from a discussion about a design issue to day-to-day socializing between a few members.
