I like your chandelier choice. You might be able to go bigger and definitely hang it lower than your current fixture.

I would consider pulling one of the colors out of the rug for your drapery panels, use a more substantial fabric than you have now. They should also be hung a little wider. Are they always closed for privacy purposes?

Hopefully one of the pros will chime in with buffet suggestions. Something for on top of the table would look nice too, perhaps a long tray of succulents. And art of course. Every room needs some art!

This is a good graphic about hanging curtains. High and wide is the usual decorating advice but IMO curtains don't look great crammed against the ceiling. If standard curtains sizes look awkward you can always use curtain rings to add some length.
