Patricia, I would like to play around with furniture arrangement for my living room that is a walk-thru from the hallway to a large slider that goes to the deck.

I agree with Patricia as I've had some real life experiences with programs not being accurate. I even worked with an architect that I had asked him to place the furniture into the plan while he drew up the rooms. When the plan came back to me I questioned if the furniture and flow were going to work even though looking at the plan it appeared that it would. I got the graph paper and made the cardboard furniture to see. If that house was built as proposed at that moment, no way would all the furniture would have fit. Better to take the time to do it the old fashion way.

The best solution is a paper and pen. That is how we design floor plan sketches. For submission, we use Autocad.
