I’m a Pirate

Indian Giver-best it has ever looked-Just had this one bloom. Never performs well and now has this dogwood tree growing in the clump!! (Perhaps a good reason not to bloom!!)

Sherry Itza Pink Teddy always gets my attention but what a great performance it put on this year!

I'm a Pirate & I'm an Angel could not be more different but I like them both.

Nancy, your Incendiary does still look good. I had that one as well but it died, without ever showing that pattern either! Inner Vision looks nothing like I thought it should. But it was sent twice by Maryott as a bonus plant and both have this washed out color. Why is it the ones you don’t really like are the ones to survive and thrive?!!

Our Incendiary was moved to a better location and did well last year but has never shown that pattern either.

I'm a King Bee is a big flower. This plant was a bonus.

Ink and Pink was another bonus. (I really like bonus plants.) I really like this little one. It has a nice scape with a good bud count.

Here's our I'm a Pirate. It was new last year.

Impressionist Sky is beautiful but doesn't last long. It has a lot of blooms open at once.

In the Name of the Father was also new last year.

Here is Inwood in our garden. It will be leaving the garden for the same reasons that Nancy gave. We just have to get our numbers down.

The color on the photo might be off. I don't think the pink on Irish Vampire Fangs is this clear. This is a new plant to the garden and it will have to get better than this to stay here.

It Plays in Peoria was a gift plant from the people who planned the Region 2 Summer Conference in Peoria a few years back.

Sherry - Your clumps of Indian Giver and Itza Pink Teddy are gorgeous!

Debra, love the colors on Inviting Romance and In Search of Angels. I have Ice Cream Emperor and Indian Ripple. They must not have bloomed well enough to bloom last season as I have no recent photos. Forgot them until I saw yours! And Ice Cream Emperor is so pretty in the garden.

Sherry: I didn't see the label on Indian Giver at first and wondered what that beautiful daylily was. Mine never looked like that. It's gorgeous as is the picture with Itza Pink Teddy..............Kate: What a cute name for an eyed dayliliy; "I'm a Pirate". Pretty.........Debra: Ice Cream Emperor is a pretty white and I'm a huge fan of Indian Ripple in my own garden. It is one of my last bloomers here. Here it is at 7PM after a long day in our July heat:

Integrated Logistics is nice and I'm always astonished at the mechanical-sounding name. I like the eye of Ink and Pink. Many others are nice too, everyone.

Ice Carnival does well for me too. It's not as yellow as the picture.

Impetuosity, last year. I like it but not many buds.

Indian Giver had one unusual bi-tome bloom.

Indy Phantom

Isolde didn't bloom this year. It is so frustrating: it is so pretty but when you split it, it doesn't bloom the next year, and not much the next. Then after a couple of years of good blooming, it nearly stops because it needs split...It may go after its next couple of good years.

Celeste - I love I Do Voodoo! I've been enamored with the hybridizer's photo for years. It's nice to see it's just as pretty in your garden. I have I'm Gonna Love You Through It, but mine didn't bloom last year. Yours is bright and pretty. Mine increased since I put it in the ground, so I hope to see lots of blooms from it next year.

Kate - Ice Cream Emperor usually doesn't have that much of a pink blush for me. But the temps were cool last year and brought out those undertones.

Brad - I like that bitone bloom on Indian Giver! Indian Ripple is a great one for the later season, and it clumps up quickly. Here's my clump shot of it.
