The best thing to do is the old fashion way with drawing out the space on graph paper and cutting out furniture to scale and move it around on the graph paper as I haven't found anyone that has come across an app that has found it reliable for scale.

Thats what I always do it is so much easier than playing around with an app.

Nice house. Tv on the wall to the right of the fireplace. Sofa facing the tv with its back to the kitchen. Guest room set up as a quiet den/library/ cocktail room.

Not much of a dining area, but what I like is, if you do have a large gr for dinner, you can expand the dining area into the family room easily.

Yes @tedbixby1981, it's perfect to do things as you mentioned.

Basically, interior design is the art of enhancing interiors with respect to functionality. Space is the most important part of the interior design process. It acts as a foundation on which the whole interior design is built.

There are so many useful things like forms, color, light, texture, and pattern that matters a lot in the interior design. Before designing, one must be aware of all these things.

So, it is good to take help from professional designers for producing high-quality interior design. They will not only help you to design your space but also recommend your unique style that matches your need.
