I start using Forbid when the weather gets consistently up in the 70s, late March or April. I’ve never heard anyone say at what temperatures the Eriophyid Mites are active, something I’ve always wanted to know, perhaps Ann or someone who knows can respond to this thread.

Some years I’ve used hort oils in early spring, some not. I don’t think its that important compared to say, good fungicides and the right insecticide/miticides. But overall I think it’s helpful when you different modes of action, so most years I add horticultural oil to the mix.

So you are considering using Forbid.

Don’t forget Obsession, Contradiction, Euphoria, Eternity, Beauty and Escape. None of these should harm mite predators.
