Saija and zkathy, you both have love V Lemon Squash

sunnywood, that Venetian Lace is a beauty and your Valcour Blue seeding is quite large. How many years is it?

peren.all, I covet your Venetian Star. It seems like one of the larger ruffled edged hostas. Your is soooooo full and perfect!

Old_dirt, Valerie’s Vanity is so green and shiny with such perfect yellow streaks into the leaves......a very outstanding hosta

mae, I like the fullness and symmetry of Virginia Reel.

    here is my V:

Love the posted Valerie’s Vanity. Reminds me of Devon Green, one of my favorites.

peren your Venetian Star is terrific. Like to see the Valleys...don't have any, but want some.

Victory definitely a biggie....has overtaken Winter Snow on the far right

Victory #2...younger, but you can get a sense of leaf size contrasting with the bricks below.

    Really liking those Venetian Stars.

All of my Vs were new last year and didn't get photos of most of them. Here's Valley's Ruffle Shuffle. A nice looking plant, despite this slightly underwatered, slightly deer nibbled example. Hoping for better things next year.

Dave, your Valleys (all of them)are just beautiful! That Red Scorpion is really outstanding with those red legs!

    Karin's Valley's BIG WOW.

I love all those wavy leaves.

Karin..I'm so glad that you tried again..your Valley's are wonderful..I love all of them..

Karin, I am overwhelmed by all your Valleys! I think you must have the largest collection of Valleys there is! I love the photo of the largest and smallest, what a difference in size! I especially like Liquid Gold and Blue Print. Great collection!

Ditto that. I also liked Lemon Limbo & Catwalk.

Dave adore Valley's Top & Red Scorpion. You and Karin are certainly representing the Valley's.

    Funny jokes, Paula!

Love the large collection of Valley's you have Karin. I see that the Valley's are now separate under the "V" listing in the Hosta Library. Love the picture of Valley's Ice Giant and V. Secret Cove. That photo visually emphases the size of each! Imagine the difference in a few years!

No V pictures for me. I couldn't even think of a hosta starting with V. But now I see there are so many! I guess I need to go shopping . . .

LOL, I really have a Valley's problem...I wish you could see them, they are so beautiful and all the green ones I've shown are different in size, leaf form and glossyness...Maybe someday there will be more in TC. Carol from the Hosta Library is asking for pictures every year and I'm glad that I can be part of this big work of hosta love :-)

I reached the 50 Valley's mark in summer and surely there will be more soon...I think the biggest collection has 70 so far...

from Dave I got a piece of Valley's Top

Two big Valley's in a picture, Waterslide in the right corner looks like a dwarf compared with them...

A newcomer with nice red legs

Karin..what a great Valley's collection!..you might have more V's than any other letter!..

Karin's Valley is one of the highlights of the Hosta alphabet for me. Now please rank them in order from favorite to most favorite so we can kick ourselves for not being able to find them. (J/K - sort of). Probably like picking your favorite child. Valley's Perfect Flow and Valley's Magnum were at the top of my list, but with new ones coming out and not being able to find them, I've stopped obsessing over them (sort of). I did pick up a Valley's Top seedling, so hopefully it will look interesting this year.

A few I got last summer, still small but Jeroen's hosta are always good growers.
