would like to bounce an idea off better minds, namely painting the window/sink wall an golden yellow color like BM Mardi Gras Gold then find a suitable softer yellow for the other 2 walls. We are taking down the wall between kitchen & dining which has all windows on the north wall so my darker north facing kitchen should get about 50%+ more light. We are putting in Ikea Abstract in gloss white, beech counter tops and a mid value grey linoleum floor. I thought white trim would be best. So questions are since yellow is tricky especially with the green outdoors reflecting in what color would you choose for the main walls of both the kitchen & dining to compliment the accent color. Any thoughts on the accent color? This is a modest southern ranch that I'm trying do in a mcm vibe, the dining room has oak flooring but refinished so not as orangey as the other original floors.
