Hey Everyone

To kickoff the spring season which is coming, lets make a thread where people post pictures of their favorite freeman maples in zone 3 and 4 where they may or may not struggle.

Looks like the city of Edmonton is happy with them. They have planted 981 in the past 10 years. It was only 300 a couple years ago so it seems they have really upped their game on planting.

Unfortunately, all I'd have to post is pictures of dead trees lol. Can't grow 'em here

Your weather is extreme ups and downs. I thought we had it bad. You guys can have 70s in winter and back down to -20s. Calgary is similar. Chinooks are brutal on trees. The regal celebration would work for you but I dont think you will ever get a chance to buy it unless you have a nursery that deals with Jeffries in Manitoba.
