The easiest thing? Leave it alone. You have a sealed limestone floor that has been compromised which means you now have raw limestone exposed. The raw limestone is now susceptible to staining, etching and gathering/collection dirt. Wax or polish will only add complexity to the refinish at a later date.

If you cannot fund a full refinish, then leave it alone. Stick to soap and water cleaning (stay away from any other cleaners). After gathering up some savings, you can then reach out to a stone professional to refinish these floors.
