If you have good local public library bookstores, check there. “Friends” usually run these used book sales. Are you saying you want the actual binding of the book and lettering in those colors after you take off the dust jacket?

Why do you need this? Sounds pretentious. It’s a book you’ll never read yet it’s a book that will be sitting conspicuously on your coffee table. Get a pretty bowl or ceramic or other decorative object instead.

Maybe some more info about that you are doing could be helpful to not get rude comments. As for the binding in particular colors IMO a lost cause you would be better off just doing covers.

You can do this, but it will take time and patience. I would scour thrift shops on a regular basis. How many books do you need for your project?

The John Derian Picture Book is ivory linen underneath the dust jacket, but the author and title are blind stamped, so no gold. Bonus...it’s a great book, not just great looking.
