So I bought two GEM Avocado trees, basically twigs, last October. I've kept them in pots to protect them from any frost which really hasn't been often, especially over the last month. I'm in 9b Northern California if that matters.
Anyhow, one of the GEMs is budding. I'm not sure what to do, if anything. Do I pinch them off so the tree can grow? Do I let it run its natural course and let it decide what to do? I don't want to do anything without asking around first. I'm new to growing avocados as well. Thanks y'all!
