Cuttings probably the least successful method of propagation. Best done with hardwood cuttings taken in early winter. Need to be kept moist and warm and can take the better part of a year to be fully rooted and able to be transplanted.

It is extremely rare for any woody cuttings to have a high success rate - 50% would be outstanding!! So always take at least twice as many as you think you need or want.
