I'm starting mine from seed this year, so none planted out yet. But I do have trays of very cute, very small seedlings right now. :) I will probably also direct-sow more late in the month.

I've probably got 2-3 weeks before the local nursery starts putting them out. Getting spring fever.

Best years have been sowing indoors. Had them under grow lights, huge root systems by time I transplanted. It was way too much work though.....

Daughter brought home a succulent pot, but as you can see I have to replant it in the proper medium. They (Farmer’s Market) used potting soil.

No, we don't plant out until May up here, but I am getting the seeds started indoors week by week. So far I've sown heliotrope, browallia, nierembergia, and a handful of different colors of vinca. Will probably do the zinnias in another week or so.
