10 x 20 is enormous. With that amount of space it doesn't really matter where you plant things. Anything very tall, like climbing beans can go on the northern side but otherwise put things where it's convenient. Next year everything will be in a different place anyway.

My whole gardening life I’ve never planted beets and beans near each other because something I read in 1972-ish said they were incompatible. Not according to this article.

I’ve read that rows should run north to south. I don’t adhere to that.

Some crops can handle or prefer shade, so they can be shaded by taller plants.

Note that peas, lettuce and broccoli should go in first, and will largely be done in early summer. That means if you leave a bit of space between them, you can put in tomatoes, beans and squash in June which will get big just as the cool weather plants are fading. That lets you grow two crops in the same physical space.
