    The floor as mentioned in other posts is wood. Not tile.

    Your tone in the responses alone would keep me from hiring your company.

    Fiorella, the Marble on the island is beautiful!! How long does it take to have a similar custom island top like that manufactured? My wife and I love Calcutta marble and are thinking about it for the kitchen and the master bathroom. Also, would you be able to give us an estimate on the cost?

    Thank you!

    Paul, it just depends on where you go for the slab. Where are you located? What you do is select the slab from a Granite and Marble showroom. The stone is priced per sq foot. you have to buy the entire slab even if you need less. Then a fabricator prices the labor to cut, finish and install the top in your kitchen. Calacatta is very expensive...in the $60+ sf price range, depending on where you're located and the style of Calacatta.

    Innovative Interiors: YOUR attitude is appalling. These designs are here to inspire people. The decorators are trying to run a business not spend their time giving free advice. Do your own research people!

    @Debora324...
    How enlightening!
    Someone who finally "gets it"... tip of the hat!

    @ "Innovative"...
    You are obviously wise beyond your years... after having contributed all of 2 "comments" you are able to pass judgment without any context.
    I'm impressed. (not really)

    I have already had a response from the designer that I totally love her work! I would just suggest letting the people figure out the answers of their questions by the people that are a bit more thorough reading through the design elements. I did appreciate the private message explaining her side of why she would be a bit frustrated with questions that are easily answered for themselves! I do apologize in the open forum, and think her work is truly amazing! Best wishes to her future projects!!!

    I, among others, really appreciate when someone takes the time to answer the questions on this site! I know it must be a hassle for you. I wouldn't appreciate just being told nothing, like a lot do, or look it up yourself! It's frustrating when you see something and really want info on it! So, thank you, and your work is beautiful!

    Fiorella your kitchen design is very eye catching. I have a similar color scheme in my home at the moment and my cabinets are Dove White but I feel white subway tile may be too white and the one in your photo looks like it might work perfectly. If you have a moment and can tell me the color I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks very much.
